MY CAKE CREATIONS HERE IN JAPAN

I started promoting my cakes through friends here in Japan.. Fortunately, they liked it and stared to upload some photos describing how great the taste was.. The first few orders were my Ube Cakes (Purple Yam Cakes) and Yema Cakes (a version of Filipino Sweet Dessert)..

I also tried creating a Buko Pandan Cake which I usually make in Philippines.. I thought the  ingredients here in Japan would be limited, but it turns out that those are available here!

MY JOURNEY....

It all started as hobby after graduation from University, took me years before I realize that I wanted to be a pastry chef! I graduated with a Degree of Doctor of Dental Medicine and now full time mom to my cute daughter..

I am married to Engineer who worked overseas most of this career. We lived in Singapore for 6 long years. Back then, I already started baking cakes, breads, and sweets with no formal training. I rely mainly on youtube, reading books and blogs. Then it became my passion..

We moved here in Japan four (4) years ago. I was lucky that my husband supported my passion and send me back to Philippines to study and become a pastry chef. And the rest is HISTORY.. :)
